These dates with bacon are always a hit at the party. This easy appetizer has only four ingredients, it’s bursting with flavor and has an unexpected surprise inside.

  • 10 oz uncured bacon approx. 9 strips
  • 18 walnut halves
  • 18 organic dates , pitted
  • 5 oz goat cheese (half of the log)

Directions

  2. Preheat the oven to 425, line the baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Use a small spoon to fill dates with goat cheese and lightly press a half walnut in each.
  4. Take bacon strips, cut in half, and wrap each date.
  5. Bake for 13-17 minutes till bacon turns slightly brown.
