Beef and Cabbage Spicy Tacos

This spicy tacos dish takes only 15 minutes to make. It’s warm and spicy with some crunch. Perfect when served with sour cream on the side to bring the spiciness down a notch. The only ingredient that could be a challenge to find is the Berbere spice mix. It is an Ethiopian spice blend that adds so much flavor and helps to create fabulous recipes in a fraction of time. It’s worth getting it, especially for spicy food lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ethiopian spice mix
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 medium-sized cabbage head
  • tortillas of your choice 
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients. ingredients to make tacos with cabbage
  2. Wash and thinly shred the cabbage.
  3. Preheat cast iron pan on medium-high. Fry beef for about 4 minutes, add the spice and salt.
  4. Add cabbage and sauce to the pan, simmer for 5 minutes while continually stirring. beef and purple cabbage in an iron pan
