Cranberry with Spices drink

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange (juice of half orange, another half sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 star of anise
  • 4 cups of water

Directions

  1. Add cranberries in the saucepan, use a potato masher to crush berries several times.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients in the pan, stir.
  3. Heat on medium-low without letting it boil. Continue heating for 10 more minutes.
  4. Turn off the burner and let stand covered for 10 more minutes.
  5. Discard the stars of anise spice and cinnamon sticks before serving. a pot full of red drink, cranberries, and spices, with a kitchen spoon inside
