This low carb chicken and dumplings soup recipe is very simple and is made in one pot. This recipe is naturally gluten-free, it’s made in 15 minutes, and is a great time-saver on a busy weekday.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of ghee
  • 1 package of frozen vegetables (1 pound)
  • 4 cups of cooked chicken meat
  • 6 cups of bone broth
  • 2 egg
  • 1 3/4 cup of almond flour 
  • 1 1/2 of salt

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients. ingredients to make chicken soup
  2. Heat a large dutch oven on medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of ghee. Once melted add the vegetables. Cook for approximately four minutes while stirring. Add chicken meat and broth,

Notes

For best flavor:

  • use moist dark chicken meat or rotisserie chicken with the skin on
  • use a quality bone broth
  • If desired add more flavor, use spices such as lemon juice, thyme, dried basil, rosemary.
