It’s a packable recipe, great grab- and go recipe for lunch boxes or road trips
This recipe is filling and made with minium ingredients
2 medium sweet vidalia onion diced
1 pound ground beef
1 can pinto beans rinsed
2 1/4 Irish cheese shredded
4 teaspoons ghee for browning onions
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
How to Make Tortilla Wrap
Step 1. Gather the ingredients. Preheat the pan on medium-high heat and cook tortillas according to the directions on the package. Once tortillas are cooked, to the same skillet add two teaspoons of ghee, so the pan is coated, add onions and fry till golden brown. Add beef and brown till thoroughly cooked. Prepare tortillas for filling. Evenly divide the beef and onion mixture and place in the middle of each tortilla, add some shredded cheese on top, make an envelope-style wrap.
Step 2. Fry stuffed tortillas using some ghee and putting wrapped ends down first. Fry each side till golden and slightly crispy.
If possible use tortillas made with real ingredients without any additives. I used the Siete gluten-free tortillas.
