Ingredients

  • cream cheese
  • sour cream
  • Greek yogurt
  • mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Start by mixing two parts of softened cream cheese with one part of sour cream, Greek yogurt, or mayonnaise (depending on how rich and creamy you want it).
  • Once mixed, add in garlic powder, fresh herbs like chives, parsley, and thyme, salt and pepper to taste. You can also add in a squeeze of lemon juice for a bit of tang.
  • Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined. If you prefer your boursin sauce substitute with a thinner consistency, you can thin it out slightly by mixing in some extra sour cream, Greek yogurt, or mayonnaise.

Notes

Enjoy your homemade boursin sauce substitute! It is perfect for spreading on crackers and vegetables or using it as a dip for chips and other snacks. You can also add it to sandwiches, wraps, and even pasta dishes for extra flavor.
