Ingredients
  

  • 2 pita bread
  • 4 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 4 tomatoes quartered
  • 1/4 mozzarella log cubed
  • basil Leaves rinsed and dried
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425 F degrees. Gather the ingredients.
  • Arrange pita bread on the baking sheet. First spread two tablespoons of tomato sauce on each pita, sprinkle with salt. Next, add sliced tomatoes and cubed mozzarella.
  • Bake for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

-Healthy tip. Choose a healthier pita made with simple ingredients, whole wheat or gluten-free flour.
-Optional. Sprinkle with balsamic vinegar before serving.
