Ingredients

  • 2 cup pecans raw halves
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts

Instructions

  • Prep. Preheat oven to 375F degrees.  In the mixing bowl, add pecans and honey. Stir to combine and make sure all pecans are well coated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Bake. Spread nuts on the baking sheet and sprinkle with hemp hearts. Bake for 8-10 min.
  • Cool. Cool for 10-15 mins so that honey can harden. Store in the mason jar.

Notes

This recipe makes two cups of pecans.
Since different ovens cook differently, keep an eye on the nuts to not burn.
Please make sure the pecans are cooled and not sticky before placing them in the storage container.
Once pecans are cooled, use a metal spatula to separate them from the parchment paper.
Serve with yogurt or ice cream, sprinkled on grains like kasha (buckwheat groats) or quinoa. Of course, they’re great on their own, too!
