  • 3 ounces proscuitto

  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Line baking sheets with unbleached parchment paper. Open the prosciutto package and start carefully laying prosciutto pieces on the baking pan. The slices might have a plastic divider in between; carefully remove it without breaking the meat.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes on the middle rack. Once baked, let it rest for 10 minutes. The prosciutto slices will become more crispy.

Notes

It’s important to ensure that pieces of meat don’t touch when baking. Use two baking pans if cooking more prosciutto slices.
Keep an eye on prosciutto while it’s is baking. Each oven bakes differently; you want to ensure that meat is not getting burned
The prosciutto slices will start curling when cooked.
Leave baked prosciutto to rest for 10 minutes; it will become crispy.
