Gather the ingredients—Preheat the oven to 375F degrees.
Melt the butter, let it cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, add three bananas, mash using a potato masher.
In a measuring cup, add kefir and baking powder. Stir vigorously utill you see the bubbles on the surface. Add to the bowl with eggs.
Add cooled butter to the bowl with eggs, mix. Start adding flour gradually while stirring to combine. Gently fold chocolate chips.
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Add the batter. Slice the last banana in half and arrange on top, gently pressing.
Bake for 1 hour on a middle shelf till toothpick comes out clean when tested in the loaf center.
