Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 2 packages gnocchi
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  • Gather the ingredients—Preheat the large skillet on medium-high heat. Once preheated, add two tablespoons of ghee, coat the bottom of the pan.
  • Shake the package of gnocchi to make sure the gnocchi are separated individually. Add to the pan, arrange so pan is not crowded.
  • Wait 4-5 minutes to flip so that the side can brown properly. Once the gnocchi browned and got crispy, it will be easier to flip them. Use a wide spatula to do it. Fry on another side till crispy. Add more ghee if needed. When cooked, sprinkle with salt, add mince garlic on top. Serve right away.

Notes

Use a well-seasoned cast-iron pan.
Use plenty of fat or oil to coat the pan.
Add gnocchi to the pan only when it’s hot.
Don’t flip right away; wait till it gets crispy.
To preserve the texture, make without anything extra. Cook the “extra” separately.
