  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 pound frozen vegetables
  • 4 cups cooked chicken meat
  • 6 cups bone broth
  • 1 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt


  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Heat a large dutch oven on medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of ghee. Once melted add the vegetables. Cook for approximately four minutes while stirring. Add chicken meat and broth.
  • Make dumplings. Whisk eggs, add a pinch of salt, add almond flour, make a dough.
  • Slice to make several dumplings. Add to the pot. Cook 2-3 minutes, turn the burner off.
  • Salt to taste. 


-Use moist dark chicken meat or rotisserie chicken with the skin on.
-Use a quality bone broth.
-If desired add more flavor, use spices such as lemon juice, thyme, dried basil, rosemary.
