Crispy Roasted Sweet Potatoes

These crispy roasted sweet potatoes are baked in the oven to pure perfection. They are nutrient-dense, made with simple ingredients, and will complement any dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sweet potatoes large
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp dry garlic
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450F degrees. Gather the ingredients.
  • Wash and scrub potatoes. Slice into evenly sized skinny logs. Place in the mixing bowl.
  • Melt the ghee. Add to the mixing bowl, add all the spices. Mix well to make sure all fries are coated.
  • Line two baking pans with parchment paper. Arrange potatoes on the pans, trying to spread them so they don’t touch each other, this will help create the crispy factor.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes switching the sheet pan placement in between.

Notes

For best fries choose long potatoes.
Use coconut oil or ghee since these fats are more stable at high temperatures.
To get the crispy texture, don't overcrowd the pan.
Enjoy right away since the texture won't stay the same after storing.
Since we don't peel these potatoes and keeping the skin on if possible buy organic potatoes.
