Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange juice of half orange, another half sliced
  • 3 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 star of anise
  • 4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Add cranberries to the saucepan, use a potato masher to crush berries several times.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan, stir.
  • Heat on medium-low without letting it boil. Continue heating for 10 more minutes.
  • Turn off the burner and let stand covered for 10 more minutes.
  • Discard the stars of anise spice and cinnamon sticks before serving.
