  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Prepare the Fruits: Wash and chop the fresh fruits into bite-sized pieces. If you're using berries, you can leave them whole.
  • Sweeten the Cottage Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix well to evenly distribute the sweetness. Adjust the sweetness to your preference.

  • Add the Fresh Fruits: Layer the chopped fruits on top of the cottage cheese in each jar. You can alternate between different fruits for a colorful presentation.
  • Repeat the Layers: Add another layer of sweetened cottage cheese on top of the fruits.
  • Finish with Garnish: If desired, sprinkle granola or chopped nuts on the top layer for some crunch and texture.
  • Serve or Refrigerate: These cottage cheese jars are ready to eat immediately, or you can seal them with lids and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
