Recipe Tips

  • To make this quiche I used Pecorino Romano cheese. It’s made from sheep’s milk and it was available at our local Costco. It has a big flavor, it’s sharp and salty, making this quiche definitely not boring. Trader Joe’s has also an amazing variety of cheeses. You can easily replace it with your favorite variety. I recommend grating it yourself for the best result.
  • I used sliced turkey meat. Add a different protein: sausage or ham. Or skip the meat and add more veggies instead.
  • Dill. I like to use dry herbs and this is what I used here. Feel free to change it to basil or cilantro, if you have fresh herbs it would taste even better.
  • Feel free to add vegetables such as sliced broccoli, tomato, spinach. A great addition would be with sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Use a different shape baking dish, such as a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet or pie dish.
  • Serve with hot sauce if desired.
