1 pound of ground beef
1 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
1 vidalia onion
1 large carrot
4 medium potatoes
4 tablespoons of mayo
How to Make It
1. Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Peel and shred the carrot, peel and dice the onion, wash potatoes, and slice in a half-circle shape not too thick so they can bake faster.
2. In an oven-safe baking dish, first layer ground beef layer, press tight, sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
3. Add a layer with onions, next add shredded carrots.
4. In a large bowl add sliced potatoes, mayo, and a teaspoon of salt, mix well till all potatoes are well coated. Layer the casserole with potatoes.
5. Bake for 30 minutes till potatoes are golden.
6. Sprinkle with cheese on top and bake for 5 more minutes.
